Hormone Loving Breakfast

Hormones are essentially your body’s chemical messengers. Your endocrine glands produce the precise amount of each hormone needed for various processes in your body, including metabolism, sexual function, reproduction, mood and so much more.

Hormones depend on beneficial fats and cholesterol, so a lack of these important macronutrients can cause hormone problems simply because the body doesn’t have the building blocks to make them. In this dish you will find avocado and olive oil to support your fat needs. As well as sauerkraut for gut health which heavily influences our hormones, particularly estrogen. And of course plenty of greens to offer essential vitamins and minerals.

  • 2 poached eggs

  • 1 cup spinach

  • 1 cup sprouts

  • 1/4 cup saurekraut

  • 1/4 avocado

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Sprinkle of black sesame seeds


  1. Bring a pot of water with white vinegar to boil. Once boiled, turn down heat slightly and crack two eggs in the water. Once they float to the surface spoon out and drain.

  2. Place spinach, sprouts, kraut and avocado on your plate.

  3. Top with eggs, sprinkle sesame seeds over the top and drizzle over raw olive oil

  4. Serve and enjoy
