These tarts are divine. They are gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free and should be enjoyed guilt free about 20% of the time to maintain our healthy balance.
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1 cups dates
- 1 tbsp cacao
- 2 cups cashews
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 3 tbsp rice malt syrup
- 4 tbsp orange water (or fresh orange juice)
- 3 tbsp cacao powder
- Orange rind to top
- Blend all the base ingredients together until well combined. Press into the bottom of a silicon tray and freeze for 1 hour.
- Meanwhile blend all filling ingredients together until a smooth consistency has been formed. Evenly pour over the base and freeze for 2 hours.
- Keep in the freezer until you are ready to eat. Pull out of the freezer 30min before eating.
