Chia & Pear Salad

Looking for an easy and light salad to have along side a BBQ dinner or by itself? Look no further. This chia and pear salad is delicious and so fresh.

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 pears (sliced)

  • 2 cups rocket and or spinach

  • 1 shaved cucumber

  • 4 radish (thinly sliced)

  • 1 avocado (chopped in small squares)

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 2 tbsp slithered almonds

Dressing Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste.


  1. In a bowl combine the lemon juice and pear. Toss until the pear is well coated and sit aside.

  2. In a large bowl add rocket and spinach, shaved cucumber, radish, avocado, chia seeds, almonds, and the pear.

  3. In a small bowl combine all the dressing ingredients and mix well. Pour over the salad when ready to serve.
